Description

Cherry, Oak, Peach

The Coopers Creek Comfort Collection pairs two richly expressive favourites, combining creamy Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay with silky Central Otago Pinot Noir. Generous, elegant and effortlessly drinkable, this mix is made for cosy nights in, long lunches, and comforting seasonal dishes.

Collection includes:

3 x Coopers Creek Select Vineyards Limeworks Hawke's Bay Chardonnay 2024

Awarded 94/100 Points & 5 Stars: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Awarded 92/100 Points: Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

"Gorgeously fruited with seductive complexity, showing golden peach, mango, vanillin oak, and brioche characters on the nose. The palate is equally satisfying with excellent weight and creamy texture, wonderfully supported by bright acidity, making it delicious and lingering. At its best: now to 2029" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jul 2025

"An excellent bouquet filled with classic and familiar scents of creamy cashew and peach, vanilla and a lactic almost cheesy quality. Nectarine, ripe apple and apricot. A fuller-bodied expression with a creamy texture, some leesy fine tannin suggestions and flavours that mirror the bouquet. Delicious and ready with best drinking from day of purchase through 2028" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Aug 2025

Pale and bright in appearance, this 2024 Chardonnay shows evolving depth in bottle. The bouquet is expressive and layered, with vanilla, lemon and grapefruit, hazelnut, and subtle spice. The palate is balanced, with fresh acidity, generous fruit weight, a silky texture, and a long finish.

Food Pairing: The wine pairs beautifully with roast chicken, creamy pasta dishes, grilled seafood, and soft cheeses.

Alc: 12.46%

3 x Coopers Creek Select Vineyards Razorback Central Otago Pinot Noir 2023

Awarded 94/100 Points & 5 Stars: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Awarded 91/100 Points: Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

"It's sweetly fruited with savoury complexity, showing dark berry, cured meat, tapenade, and roasted nut aromas on the nose. The palate displays succulent fruit flavours with supple texture and fine-grained tannins, finishing persistent and finely dry. At its best: now to 2029" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Sep 2025

"Varietal, fruity, textured, savoury, dried herb and flavours of dark cherry and roasted raspberry, boysenberry and nettles. There’s a mix of oak and a light barrel smoke quality then tension from tannins and a backbone of acidity. Well made and still developing with best drinking from late 2026 through 2031+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sep 2025

Medium coloured, this wine has a garnet core and a red rim. High toned floral notes, red cherries, strawberries, hints of tamarillo and a lovely background of subtle oak. Medium bodied, with firm, yet fine grained tannins and masses of sweet fruit in the mid palate, finishing. Already approachable, but we expect this wine to develop for a number of years.

Alc: 13%
