Beautiful and attractive dark and deep purple. The aromas are elegant and full of fresh fruit black cherries and ripe blackberries. This is very well integrated with wood, spices, cedar and chocolate notes, plus a lightly toasted hint.
Over a century has passed since Don Melchor, the winery's founder, created a legend. When he discovered his finest Concha y Toro wines were missing, he spread the word amongst the local villagers that the devil lived in his cellar. From that day, the wine has been known as Casillero del Diablo, the devil's cellar, and the wine thieves remain deterred.
Food Pairing: Perfect with red meats. Different types of cheese, such as gouda or blue, also go particularly well with this wine.
