90% Kokako, Ohiti Valley and 10% Ascot, Havelock North. In classic Aurulent style, struck match, flint, and lemon curd intertwine with fine French oak.  Vibrant citrus and lime pith drive the palate, finishing with a silken texture and gentle saline lift.  Refined, moreish, and mouth-watering, this Chardonnay lingers beautifully.

Hand-picked, whole bunch pressed, natural ferment, 100% malo-lactic fermentation, aged in barrel on lees 10 months, new (22%) and old French oak, individual barrel selection to taste. Unfined & light filtration. 2024 was a classic Hawke’s Bay season. Warm days and cool nights produced wines with naturally high acidity, citrus lift, and stone fruit intensity. Exceptionally low yields — some vineyards down by 50% — have heightened concentration, resulting in wines of depth and structure, built to age gracefully.
