A complex marriage of sweet butterscotch, dark chocolate, vanilla, zesty oranges, dried fruits and almonds, alongside a sprinkling of cinnamon. 

John and James Chivas, the pioneers of whisky blending, began blending whiskies back in the 19th century. They stayed true to two fundamental principles of blending: old, mature stocks and a distinct Speyside accent. The Chivas blending team applies those same principles today, with whiskies that are at least 12 years old, a generous measure of Speyside malts and specifically, rich and fruity Strathisla single malt that constitutes the heart of Chivas' smooth blends.
