Ripe fruits in the nose, greedy and full-bodied mouth, supple tannins giving the typical “GSM” character.
A blend of 45% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 15% Mourvèdre.
GSM is a term used to easily describe a southern Rhone-style blend. The three main varietals produced are Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre They are blended to produce a wine that has balance and maximizes the best qualities of each grape. Grenache boasts a plushness and some spice, while Rhone grown Syrah can be meaty and rich with black pepper. Mourvèdre provides more earth with tonnes of tannin and colour.
