On the nose, you will find an alluring vanilla sweetness with flashes of vibrant tropical fruit and a wonderful toasty oak character.
The palate is mouth-coating, warming and generous with soft notes of vanilla, more of that tropical fruit and some wine-like notes created through the cask maturation process. Toasty oak returns on the finish alongside sweet vanilla and hints of pastry cream.
Charles Mercer & Co signature DOUBLE BARREL blend is created by first expertly sourcing aged component rums from BARBADOS, the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, JAMAICA and PANAMA. These rums are then blended together and left to rest in a marrying cask in London for a further period of 6 months before being carefully bottled.
