Castillo de Molina Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 (Chile)
An expressive & complex bouquet of fresh fruits
An expressive & complex bouquet of fresh fruits
Description
Raspberry, Tobacco, Vanilla
Intense ruby-red colour violet hues. This wine displays an expressive, complex bouquet, full of fresh fruits such as raspberries and cherries and ripe fruits like plums and blackberries, which blend perfectly with the tobacco and vanilla notes produced during barrel aging.
On the palate, this is a fruity and well-integrated wine, displaying good structure and body, and mature and round tannins, which give way to a long and persistent finish. It can be enjoyed immediately or stored for 5 to 8 years.
The finest Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were sourced from Vina San Pedro's most prized vineyards in the Central Valley, specifically in the Cachapoal Valley, in Alto Cachapoal, Marchigue of the Colchagua Valley and Pencahue of the Maule Valley. The Vineyards are set upon the foothils of the Andes Mountain range in Cachapoal, 30km from the coats in Colchagua, with Clay soils in the Andes Mountain Range and in the Coastal Mountain range of Maule. The vines are trained with vertical trellis systems with drip irrigation.
Food Pairing: Ideal for accompanying red meat, wild game birds, venison and semi-hard cheeses.
