Silky but structured, with soft tannins
Silky but structured, with soft tannins
Description
- American & French oak
- Ripe red fruit
- Black pepper
- Soft tannins
Deep shiny cherry-red colour. Elegant ripe red fruit aromas and spiced notes on the nose (black pepper). Its soft elegant notes of oak do not cover the intense ripe red fruit aromatic components. It is well-balanced, silky but structured, with elegant soft tannins and a good acidity. Long aftertaste.
100% Monastrell grown in Yecla in limestone soil.
Grapes were harvested in September 2018, fermented for 8-10 days at 24-26ºC, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steeel tanks. The wine was aged for 6 months in oak barrels (80% French and 20% American).
Food Pairing: Pair with lamb, meat stews, grilled meats in general, spiced food(Mexican), cured cheeses, assorted tapas.
