Description
Dry, Floral, Pear
"Delightfully fruited and inviting, the bouquet shows golden peach, poached pear, lemon peel and rich floral aromas. The palate displays succulent fruit intensity, together with supple texture and beautifully pitched acidity, finishing long and flavoursome. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2024

"Bright, even, pale straw yellow. This has a rich bouquet with aromas of pear, melon, spice and honeysuckle. Medium-full bodied, aromas of pear, apple and melon melded with honeysuckle and cardamom. Alcohol power reflects spice, and crisp acidity refreshes and drives a dry, long finish" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Nov 2024
Aromatic and enticing, the 2024 Robertson Pinot Gris immediately appealing. Nashi Pear, peach, melon and hint of honey is evident.
While it has been made in a dry style, the sweet fruit reflects the hot season of 2024.
Whether it is lunch or dinner, Pinot Gris is a joy to behold. According to Jancis Robinson the grey as in Pinot Gris takes its name from the grey habits worn by the Cistercian Monks who spread the variety through Europe.
Food Pairing: King prawn risotto.
