Golden hued, with aromas of crisp green apples and succulent pears. On the palate, the wine shows lemon meringue, a touch of toasty vanilla and a warm, comforting nuance. Barrel fermentation in new French oak and sur lie aging add complexity and textured elegance. The addition of a small parcel of Clarksburg Chenin Blanc adds a refreshing note of crisp honeydew melon to balance the wine.

Winemaking: Fermented sur lie for 12 months in 28% new French oak and 61% in a combination of new and one-year-old American oak.

Bogle is Quintessential California. The family behind Bogle is now in its seventh generation, run by Warren Bogle, with vineyards based around the Sacramento Delta Basin. The Twenty Acres brand honours the first twenty acres of vines that Warren Bogle planted in 1968. Each Twenty Acres wine has a small addition of a Bogle heritage varietal.
