Bogle's 'heritage' Petite Sirah is known for its concentration and jammy, luscious flavours. Rich red with purple undertones. Nose of freshly picked cassis berries and black juniper with dry twigs and a floral exotic touch. Spicy taste with juicy acidity and soft tannins in a lush finish.
Bogle is Quintessential California. The family in its seventh generation is now run by Warren Bogle. Their vineyards are based around the Sacramento, Delta Basin. These wines really are bursting with ripe flavour and must be tried. The winery is also Certified Sustainable. In 2019 Bogle Vineyards was named as the American Winery of the Year in the Wine Enthusiast Wine Star Awards.
Food Pairing: Perfect with spicy oriental dishes with red and white meat. Goes also well with pasta in spicy tomato sauce with peppers and white mould cheeses.
