This Susumaniello from Salento in southern Italy has red apple, raspberry, and chocolate-covered cherry characters and dishes up sweet, spicy berries like a champion. Lush, plush, and super-sippable. We LOVE it!
The grapes are harvested by hand during the second half of September and the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. When fermentation is over, the wine ages in the bottle for 3 months.
Food Pairing: Perfectly combined with pasta with meat sauce, grilled meat and aged cheeses.
