Description
Dry, Grapefruit, Passionfruit
"The wine offers stunning fruit purity and intensity on the nose, showing passionfruit, peach, rock melon, and kaffir lime characters. The palate is concentrated and punchy with excellent power and persistence. Wonderfully expressed with loads of delectable flavours. At its best: now to 2028" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2026
"Varietal with a dried herb and bell-pepper lead, some nettles and sandy mineral ideas. Fruits lean towards apples and pears then passionfruit and quince. Crisp and just dry, lean and fresh with citrus and green apple then dried herb qualities" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
Pale green in hue, this off-dry Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc expresses both precision and generosity. Harvested at optimal ripeness and cool-fermented in stainless steel, it preserves the clarity and vibrancy of its fruit. The bouquet is lifted and expressive, revealing layers of ripe tropical fruit interwoven with distinctive blackcurrant. The palate is rich and textural, unfolding with opulent notes of passionfruit, pineapple, and succulent blackcurrant. A subtle touch of sweetness is seamlessly integrated, enhancing the wine’s generous mouthfeel while maintaining balance and freshness through to a long, composed finish. Approachable in its youth, yet with the structure to reward short-term cellaring of 2–3 years.
Food Pairing: An elegant partner to Thai-style grilled prawns, goat cheese with mango salad, or seared scallops complemented by a vibrant tropical salsa.
