Description
Cherry, Oak, Spice
"Super bright and ripe red fruit aromas with fresh red cherry and dark strawberry ideas first, then scents of stone and quietly spoken wood spices. Taut, crisp, dry and fruity as the wine touches the palate, flavours of red berries mirror the bouquet with some crisp tannins and backbone of acidity framing the fruit well. Best Juicy, fleshy and primed for drinking from 2025 through 2029" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Oct 2024
"Delightfully fruited and elegantly fragrant, the wine shows sweet cherry, wild strawberry, olive and toasted almond notes. The palate delivers juicy fruit intensity together with supple texture and silky tannins, finishing beautifully long and silky. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2024
"Youthful and appealing, fresh and vibrant fruit complexed by toasty oak and earthy hints, lively acidity binds and carries this approachable Pinot Noir, appeals for early drinking" Candice Chow, Wine Chat
Bright garnet in colour, this wine is savory and earthy with black cherries, boysenberries, and a hint of cinnamon spice. The juicy palate flows through to a fruit-driven core of crunchy red currants, dried cranberries, black olive, and a light smokey finish. This pinot noir is opulent with round tannins, a good structure and an elegant finish.
Sourced from the Southern Valleys, this pinot noir went through fermentation in open top fermenters, with 20% whole bunch and was hand plunged. Aged with French oak.
Food Pairing: Beautiful with rich game dishes.
