Fabulously drinkable
Wine Orbit
Description
Dry, Floral, Nectarine
"Pristine and elegantly fragrant on the nose with aromas of white-fleshed nectarine, Asian pear, lemon peel, and florals. It's juicy and lively in the mouth, offering youthful fruit intensity with beautifully pitched acidity, making it fabulously drinkable. At its best: now to 2028" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2025

"Bright, even, pale straw yellow. The nose is gently full, with aromas of pear, quince, white floral and a touch of spice. Medium-light bodied, with aromas of pear and quince, and magnolia and ginger. The fruit is vibrant, supported by refreshing acidity. The oily mouthfeel binds the fruit and spice, alongside a silky texture, to a pleasing finish. An approachable, refreshing Pinot Gris" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Nov 2025
"Aromas and flavours of green and yellow pomaceous fruits, a mix of white spice and fine leesy complexities. A just dry wine on the palate with core flavours of red apple and green pear, and fine lees and fruit tannins texture, plenty of acidity and salivation. Ready to drink from day of purchase through 2027. Excellent value" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Nov 2025
This Pinot Gris is delightfully dry and refreshing, with fragrant notes of fresh pear, mandarin, and white blossom. The juicy and fleshy palate is well-balanced by smoothness, a subtle hint of spice, and a delicate acidity that lingers in the finish.
The 2025 growing season kicked off with a warm spring, leading to excellent flowering conditions and healthy yields. A cool, wet summer was followed by dry and warm conditions in February. This allowed for optimal harvest conditions for ripening fruit. As a result, the fruit had vibrant acidity and great concentration, with excellent balance, reflecting the region's signature style. To retain freshness and purity, the wine went through a long, cool fermentation in stainless steel tank.
Food Pairing: This wine is a great accompaniment to a night filled with spicy Asian cuisine and good company.
