Our Merlot is from the famed Gimblett Gravels region in Hawke's Bay known for its warm climate and free-draining gravels. Fermented in small stainless steel tanks with cultured yeasts and gentle maceration to enhance the fruit forwardness. The wine was then aged in French oak for 9 months.
Food Pairing: Beef carpaccio with horseradish is the perfect accompaniment to enjoy with this wine, friends and an afternoon of laughter.
