Black Barn Single Vineyard Hawke's Bay Pinot Gris 2018

Description

Aromas of fresh nashi pear, citrus blossom and a hint of ginger layered with a hint of crème brûlée. The rich, full palate reveals fleshy succulent notes with a finely textured balance leading into a long finish. A crafted fine food wine.

Grigio-inspired texture. Fermentation using an aromatic yeast strain. Off-dry with 8 grams per litre of residual grape sugar. Post fermentation held on light lees to impart additional palate texture, minimal fining.
