Deep dark plum. Lifted, fresh characteristics of blackcurrant and violets. Vanilla, primary raspberry and plum fruits, cherry with an underlying hint of spice. Bright, young and vibrant medium bodied palate, showing red berry flavours, supported by hints of cigar box and cedar in the background. A juicy mid palate presenting great structure, with a balanced acidity.

The 2019 McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich and generous wine showing ripe blackberry fruit with overtones of spice, choc-mint and vanilla. The use of traditional small batch open fermenters with header boards, gentle pressing and maturation in French and American oak barrels for 12 months has produced a complex wine with superb vibrancy of fruit, structure and length.
