Description

Herbal, Spice, Strawberry

Aromatic and bright, this Pinot Noir opens with lifted notes of wild strawberries, cherry blossom and crushed herbs. The palate is light to medium-bodied with juicy red fruit flavours—think raspberry and red cherry—woven with soft spice and hints of earth. Fine tannins and fresh acidity provide balance and structure, leading to a silky, savoury finish.

Inspired by the fast-paced, flavour-packed world of Asian dining, Bento is designed for those lost wine occasions: the BYOs, the shared dishes, the street-food feasts, the noise, the heat, the spontaneity. Hereto reclaim wine’s place at the modern dining table, Bento is designed for the energy and chaos of (real-life/casual) dining, delivering a range of vibrant, delicious wines that everyone will love.

Wrattonbully was shaped by a cool, dry growing season, allowing for extended ripening and excellent flavour development. Moderate yields produced fruit with impressive concentration, balance, and natural acidity. Red varieties, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, showed great structure and depth. Overall, 2024 is considered a high-quality vintage for the region, with wines expected to age gracefully.

This Pinot Noir is harvested in the early hours to retain freshness and delicate aromatics. Fermentation occurs in small open-top fermenters with gentle hand plunging to extract colour and tannin without overworking the fruit.
