Herbal, Oak, Plum

Sweet, dark-fruited and warm, with plum leading into leather, coffee and cedar. Vanilla sits beneath, while black pepper lifts distinctly through the aroma, framed within a gentle, spicy warmth. Sweet fruit on entry with a dense, fruit cake richness. Layers of Doris plum, cherry and raspberry build through the mid-palate, supported by subtle iodine and vanilla. Full and mouth-filling, with red florals lingering on a warm, persistent finish.

Our Black Label range is crafted specifically to complement food. This deep coloured Syrah is produced from a special selection of grapes grown in the Bridge Pa Triangle region of Hawke’s Bay. The peppery aroma and strong berry fruit flavours are characteristic of this variety.

Food Pairing: An elegant, medium weighted palate - dark fruits and garden herbs again with strawberry elements. Finely texture with a hint of cocoa and a savoury finish.
