Clear, slight green tint. Ripe fruit notes of melon, peach, passionfruit and kiwifruit, along with lavender and fresh crushed herb aromas. Full and juicy on the palate with ripe, concentrated flavours, tangy freshness and a long finish showing typical minerality. A vibrant wine showing purity, class and sub-regional character. A vibrant wine over the next year. Up to ten years the wine will become less fruity, but will develop interest and complexity.

An excellent growing season meant grapes were harvested from selected blocks when they showed optimal flavour ripeness. Rapid processing with cool temperatures and minimal oxygen contact has kept the wine fresh and vibrant. Juices were fermented cool and slow with selected yeast strains, then left to mature on the yeast lees for three months before being prepared for bottling.
