The name says it all: Aperol is the perfect aperitif! Bright orange in color it has a unique bitter-sweet taste deriving from a secret recipe that has remained unchanged since its creation. An infusion of precious primary components of many herbs and roots in a perfectly balanced combination.

Aperol's aroma is one of zesting orange with appealing complex herbal scents harmonized with a touch of vanilla. To enjoy Aperol's fragrance and aroma at its best it is recommended Aperol is stored away from light and high temperatures. The taste is lightly alcoholic, with intense orange top notes. The body is herbal, woody and pleasantly bittersweet and salty. A long pleasant herbal flavour is followed by a bitter aftertaste.

Serving recomendation: 'Aperol Spritz', which is as as easy as 3, 2, 1 to make. Simply add Aperol to a glass of prossecco with a dash of soda and finish with ice and a slice of orange for pure perfection.

Food Pairing: Very easy to pair, this expression is the perfect fit for every kind of aperitivo, as well as first and second courses made with seafood, white meat and vegetables, even when citrus fruits are used in preparation. Specific pairings could be spicy food, when aromatic but not too hot, such as curried or tandoori chicken. A nice pairing for vegetable dishes and soups, and also very good paired with savoury vegetable tarts or fresh cheese.
