Description
Dry, Floral, Nectarine
An enticing bouquet of floral aromas, blood orange and gardenia, along with apricot and citrus blossom. The palate is delectable with white fleshed nectarine and a hint of almond meal. A dry finish is complemented by soft acidity, round mouthfeel, and long-lasting flavours.

Named after the brave and daring aerial acrobats of the 1920s, you have to be a little adventurous to try this exotic and enchanting variety, but once you have, you’ll be smitten.
The grapes for this wine were sourced from our estate vineyard. In 2024 the vines were 18 years old, and all cane pruned, this allows us to keep an open canopy and moderate crop load.
Viognier has the narrowest of windows to harvest the fruit at optimal flavour, sugar and acidity. The best flavours come right at the end of ripening and quickly dissipate if left too long. Viognier requires daily and sometimes twice daily tasting and analysis near to harvest. The grapes were carefully hand harvested and whole bunch pressed for gentle extraction of aroma and flavour from the grape skin. Once pressed the juice was minimally handled with no fining and no enzyme addition so that the wine can reveal a truer expression of our vineyard.
Food Pairing: A delightful aperitif and a beautiful compliment to your seafood, white meats, and vegetable dishes.
