Golden hued with a touch of pale straw, reflective of the terroir. The bouquet abounds with appealing toasted oak influences, pure scented citrus blossom, and golden peach characters. Embellished with layers of toffee, caramel, and sweet spice from French oak all wrapped around a smooth textural mid palate with a long lingering finish. Generous and flavoursome but with balance and grace.

Low cropping Clone 15 Chardonnay vines of over 25 years age were carefully cane pruned to maximise flavour. Bunch thinning, shoot removal and leaf plucking were carried out to ensure good sun exposure and ripening potential. A very sunny growing season has provided low disease pressure with grapes in perfect health, giving excellent ripeness, concentration and texture to the juice.

Bridge Pa fruit was harvested and pressed quickly with minimal winemaking intervention to preserve fruit flavour. Once clear juice is racked off, a combination of selected and wild yeast is used for fermentation. Toasty oak and stone fruit aromas are complimented by caramel cream flavours from full malolactic fermentation. Bottled under screw cap to maintain freshness and integrity of the wine through to your glass.
