Allan Scott Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2026
Bright & zesty, with lime, citrus & juicy tropical fruit
Bright & zesty, with lime, citrus & juicy tropical fruit
Description
Dry, Lemon, Melon
Lime zest, Meyer lemon and rockmelon, on a base of passionfruit curd. A classically structured Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, balancing lively acidity with fresh, sweet tropical and citrus fruit flavours.
Marlborough’s 2026 harvest was outstanding, finishing on a high with superb flavours and acid balance across all varieties! The early part of the growing season was exceptional, with a fierce sun and well-spread rainfall. Ripening slowed at the beginning of 2026, before picking up again in February and March due to a cooler, drier weather pattern. This created more classical ripening conditions, with cool nights and mild, sunny days, combined with a distinct lack of rain. Fruit ripening was extended, allowing for a more relaxed pace in waiting for each block and variety to reach optimal flavour before picking. Resulting in every block being harvested at its finest.
Beautifully clean ripe grapes were harvested separately based on flavour from each of our vineyard sites. After gentle pressing, the juice was fermented cool in stainless steel tanks to capture the fruit expression from each block. After resting on light lees, only the best lots were blended to make our signature Sauvignon Blanc.
Food Pairing: We recommend serving this wine chilled and enjoying it on its own or alongside the last of the summer’s produce. This wine is perfect for serving chilled by itself or with any delicate white meat dishes.
