Description

Dry, Oatmeal, Strawberry

“It's delightfully expressed on the nose, showing crunchy apple, wild strawberry, oatmeal and lemon peel nuances, leading to a finely flowing palate that's juicy and elegant. Beautifully framed by crisp acidity, making it refreshing and immediately appealing. At its best: now to 2026” Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Sept 2024

Lovely pale pink colour with bright aromatics of strawberry, lemon rind and forest berries lead to a delightful palate of similar berry fruit flavours with rose petal, brown and vanilla-like spice. The wine is flavoursome, long and refreshing.

A classic field blend of varieties entirely sourced from gnarly older vine vineyards of the South of France, and crafted into a soft, pale, dry and crisp Rose wine with subtle texture and terrific flavour. Adeline is simply prettiness and vibrancy in the glass.

A year of extreme heat periods in a region that does see and handle heat very well. There were some losses to yields after a hail event but with warm days and excellent vineyard management the resultant fruit is of very high quality and delivering light, flavoursome and fragrant wines.

100% destemmed and whole berry pressed and left on skins for a short while to impart colour and texture. The juice was inoculated and underwent an uneventful fermentation in stainless steel to dryness. 3 months maturation on less has built in additional structure, weight and mouthfeel.
