1 x Il Villaggio Organic Nero D'Avola Sicilia IGT 2018 (Italy)

While slightly brooding on the nose this is characteristic Nero d’Avola with lifted aromatics and plush fruit intensity. Plum, blackberry and black cherry richness with supporting milk chocolate, brown spices and earthy complexity that is so typical of the region. The wine has a plushness of berries finishing long and dry with savoury notes and freshness of acidity. The tannins are soft and deliver a clear all-rounder; food friendly wine and an easy one to like on its own.

Alc: 14%

1 x Bumblebee Organic South Australia Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Australia)

"A rich savoury cabernet with inky varietal fruit showing light red berry notes" Winestate Magzine, Aug 2020

The nose is lifted and expressive, displaying mellow red fruits, a dusty herbal perfume, and notes of mocha oak.  The palate is likewise open and medium bodied with blackcurrant, olive and mulberry flavours matched by subtle notes of tobacco. The wine is generous in the mid palate before soft tannins and bright acidity carry the wine to a lingering finish.

It is powerful and mouthfilling with generous flavours, finishing long and velvety. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, May 2019

This Cabernet shows true character of the region through dark, brooding berry fruit flavours with earth and undergrowth. Subtle floral, violet-like aromas and flavours with vanilla and cedar meandering through the rich fruit flavours with subtle dried herb and tobacco nuance. Drinking wonderfully now as a full flavoured and mouth-filling wine with plushness of fruit pulled long with typical grainy tannins that will also ensure longevity if cellared carefully.

This wine is dark and broody but with a purple brightness. Showing typical Cabernet cassis, violet florals, cut herb and fresh leather this is a mouth-filling wine with depth of flavour and long fine tannins extending the finish.

1 x Farm Hand Monash Valley Organic Shiraz 2019 (Australia)

AWARDED 90/100 POINTS & 4.5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2019

AWARDED 89/100 POINTS: Gary Walsh, The Wine Front

"Youthfully charming and fragrant, the bouquet shows Black Doris plum, mulberry, violet and olive characters, leading to a succulent palate that is supple and smooth. It is flavoursome and lingering with a silky-smooth finish. At its best: now to 2024" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2019

"Raspberry, plum, almond, almost pretty to smell. Medium-bodied, ample fruit, juicy and well-balanced, a lick of tannin, a little spice laid on, and a satisfactory finish. Bang on. No complaints here" Gary Walsh, The Wine Front

"Finding good certified organic wine under $20 can be trial and error, but Farm Hand, a brand from marketing guru Nic Crampton and team, seems to nail the brief. The wine is redolent of ripe plum, choc-liquorice and smoky-clove spice. The palate has an appealing plushness, cuddly tannins and a sweet richness of flavour that sloshes around the mouth well. It’s a relatively simple wine but ticks all the boxes for easy appeal and general drinkability" Mike Bennie, Best Buy Wines $20 and under, Jan 2020

The nose is ripe-fruited and inviting displaying bright red-berried fruit, plums and sweet spice with a hint of savoury oak. The palate is nicely medium bodied and approachable with a dark berry and cassis flavours framed by soft tannins.
