The Unravelled is a light-bodied and finely structured Pinot Noir. The 2019 has lovely balance, with red plum, rhubarb and raspberry coulis notes, as well as hints of liquorice and clove. We enjoy this as an everyday drinking wine.

Matured in French oak barrique for 8 months, with 7% new oak.

Carrick Unravelled is their early drinking offering for Pinot Noir lovers. The name references the Carrick Bend their symbol of the people and land, here it is a metaphor for the more relaxed style of this wine. The vineyard is tended by hand, allowing for careful management of individual vines, throughout the season. Each parcel is hand-harvested and undergoes a wild fermentation, in tank, before being pressed and barreled down. Care is taken to monitor and adjust cap management to the unique conditions of each ferment. Made from predominantly Dijon clones on various rootstocks, from vines planted in 1996.

Organically certified since 2008, to EU equivalence.
