Description

  • Crunchy green apple
  • Fresh gooseberry
  • Peach
  • Jasmine flowers

"This is instantly appealing on the nose showing feijoa, kaffir lime, Granny Smith apple and floral characters, leading to a wonderfully expressed palate that's succulent and flavoursome. It's bright and pristine with an impressively long juicy finish" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2020

"Bright, pale straw-yellow, even colour throughout. The nose is vibrant and fresh, nuances of tropical passionfruit, feijoa and rambutan have a good core, entwined with elderflower and subtle notes of new herb cuttings. Medium-light bodied, thirst-quenching aromas of passionfruit, feijoa and rambutan presented with purity, along with grapefruit, interwoven lifted floral notes of elderflower and fresh herbs. The fruit has excellent concentration and flavour intensity, supported by mouthwatering acidity; easy-flowing, along with a light phenolic grip. The wine is generous and upfront, effortlessly pleasing on the palate. This is a generous and pleasing Sauvignon Blanc with tropical fruit flavours, elderflower and herbs details, on a mouthwatering acid drive. Match with seafood platter and blue cod over the next 2-4 years" Candice Chow, Raymon Chan Reviews, Sep 2020

Pale straw in colour, this Sauvignon Blanc has a complex nose full of fresh gooseberry, rock melon, kiwifruit, crushed herbs and a touch of sweat. The zesty palate is packed full of crunchy green apple, peach and jasmine flowers with a delicious line of salinity, grainy texture and a refreshingly dry finish.

The fruit for this wine came from the Wairau and Awatere valleys. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel to maximise fruit purity and varietal character. This is a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc which is approachable and delicious.

Food Pairing: Try with fresh seafood or light, seasonal salads.
