Showing a nice rosé colour and a persistent mousse followed by numerous and fine bubbles. Louis Perdrier Rosé Excellence supports a fruit forward nose of red fruits combined with citrus aromas. This is a well-balanced wine, showing a fruity palate, composed of Cinsault, Syrah and Grenache.
Fashioned from grapes grown to some of France's most exquisite winegrowing districts, Cuvée Veuve du Verney has been awarded many accolades and medals throughout it's illustrious history. To be enjoyed within 1 or 2 years from purchase.

The Perdrier Brut is really quite drinkable but nothing special. However the Perdrier Rose Brut stands out from the crowd IMO. Dry, but works well with the fizz. I tend to find many of the standard French rose wines too bone dry but it really suits this Rose Brut - tangy but not sharp, complex fruit flavours - I'm not going to spout the usual strawberries and cream nonsense, because this is way better than that. We've been drinking this through winter - it's definitely not just a summer drink. I now have 2 favourite fizzy roses: Deutz rose brut and now Perdrier rose brut. It's that good.
