Extended time on the vine resulting in concentrated, ripe fruit while still retaining fresh acidity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHarvested using a modern machine harvester in the early morning when the grapes were cool. Grapes pressed into stainless steel tanks for fermentation, with a small portion then transferred to French oak barrels for maturation. Carefully blended after 8 months, then aged a further 3 months before bottling. A wine with outstanding texture and length.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFruit for this wine is grown using organic practices on our Arapoto block, high above the Awatere River. Partially aged in French oak barrels to build a luscious, richly textured wine.
