Each year, the magical blend from the Poison Creek and Mohawk Hill vineyards changes. Maintaining the pedigree of our Maude Pinot Noir is absolutely critical; but achieving this requires flexibility with both the blend as well as the technique as both vary with each vintage. Regardless of whether they make it into Maude’s iconic Pinot, all the batches are treated with the exact same care. They are hand-picked, hand-plunged, fermented in open topped tanks and matured in French oak barrels for 12 months.
