This wine and this food would transform a quiet Saturday luncheon when no one is available or all the trains have gone on strike and the barometer is dropping hectopascal after hectopascal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSister’s Run is serious fun. Our talented young winemaker Elena Brooks wears steel cap work boots every day of course, but carries a pair of high heels in back of the ute for emergencies, like last minute invitations to accept trophies at wine show dinners!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eReturning from a ‘knees-up’ mid vintage, Elena managed to kick off one high heel and slip back into a boot, just as the cellar crew cried out, ‘Run Sister Run!’. At that moment ; both our winemaker and label took flight!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSister’s Run has a fierce commitment to making the best wines we can from family vineyards.
