Moderate drought resulted in a lower-than-average yield, but produced small, deeply concentrated berries of excellent quality. The fruit was harvested by hand from August 26 through October 16. Lots underwent primary fermentation in the barrel, were inoculated and tracked through malolactic fermentation, and then stopped when they reached the ideal balance of richness and acidity.
