Brilliant ruby colour in the glass. The nose is fine and powerfull with aromas of dried currants, leading to stewed notes of candied fruit. The palate presents lovely soft tannins, evloving into lively cherry and red currant fruit flavours.

Rigal’s story started at the heart of the Cahors vineyards. As early as 1755 the family created its first vineyard in a land where vines have been cultivated for two thousand years. Since 1941 the company has developed a trade not only of Cahors wines but also of Bergerac, Gaillac, Fronton, Madiran and Gascony wines. Playing a truly pioneering role, the Rigal family has promoted the quality and diversity of the wines of the South-West region under the same name.
