With warm free draining soils and the cool dry local climate this is an ideal place to grow Pinot Noir. The vineyard is planted in eight different clones of Pinot Noir, which all contribute complexity to this wine. The cool dry climate and naturally low yields consistently give clean ripe fruit with vibrant varietal character.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe grapes were harvested by clonal selection and fermented in small open top fermenters. A range of stem inclusion, yeast and cap management techniques were used to gently extract flavour and tannins and express the vibrant fruit.
