With the colour of freshly cut hay, this Massey Dacta Sauvignon Blanc 2019 shows scented lemon, limes, rock melon and lanolin notes. The palate is full of grapefruit and lemongrass with a textural mouthfeel. There is plenty of flavour and a finish that is both rewarding and refreshing – perfect with Hemmingway’s vegan fare - Super stuff!!
The 2019 Marlborough summer was one that provided awesome growing season and the tractor was in and out of the shed often to maximise the best harvest dates of the vintage. This wine is from the Tom Glover Vineyard, and is a small percentage of Semillon fruit is from the Brink Vineyard, vegan friendly and organic.
As kids, the farm was all about that big red tractor which captivated our imaginations. The real name was such a mouthful that from our earliest memories it was known as the Massey Dacta. This wine is a tribute to the fantastic memories we had growing up in rural New Zealand; and of course – the Massey Dacta!!
