Using only organic viticulture, and grown on marly limestone containing rich layers of seashells, the Meuliere soils produce the driest and the lightest wines of Chablis. The Petit Chablis is a delightful expression of the essence of Chablis, while their Premier Cru of Vaucoupin reflects the richness and elegance of the most age worthy Chablis.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e2023 was hot and dry—no secret there, and no climatic incidents to report! The winter was very mild, and the vines budded in line with the average timing of the previous 20 years. Flowering took place around 10 June under the best possible conditions. After the cluster closure stage in early July, the drought became firmly established. Harvest began on 14 September, with afternoons that were warm and nights that were cool. Despite the drought, yields were surprisingly good. The quality is remarkable—a vintage to enjoy from its youth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePneumatic pressing. Static settling for 24 hours.
