A Merlot with perfumed plum, spice and delicious notes of mocha, a delectable smooth and supple wine.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFruit for our Giesen Estate Merlot comes from the Hawke’s Bay wine region on the East Coast of the North Island which is known for producing rich, plummy Merlot.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur fruit is selected predominantly from vineyards in the Bridge Pa area and gives us ripe fruit flavours, texture and a beautiful deep, dark colour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter selective harvesting, fruit was immediately taken to the winery and transferred to red fermentation tanks.
