Firm-ish and dry as the wine touches the palate, contrasting core of black currant and dark berry fruits flavours  along with youthful yet polished tannins and a backbone of acidity deliver a wine of completeness, complexity and power. Layers of dried herb, licorice and barrel spices show a wine with breadth, depth and style. The same appears on the palate, at first rather austere and unyielding, but as the wine opens up in the glass it reveals genuine cool-climate qualities, intense flavour concentration without being heavy, combining masculine power with an underlying elegance that will blossom over time.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\n\tNo herbicides, pesticides or systemic fungicides used.
