From another great vintage for Bordeaux, this is a double Gold medal claret from a family domaine. Made from mostly Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, Château Pradeau Mazeau is a tasty everyday claret with lots of appealing ripe fruit.

If you’ve ever thought clarets were a bit stand offish, this double Gold medal claret will convert you. Ripe, velvety and brimful of plum and cassis, it’s a very moreish Bordeaux from the family property and a 5-Star vintage. The property’s vineyards are composed of clay and limestone, a combination Merlot loves, with a favourable southern exposure that ensures luscious ripeness and concentration in the grapes. Philippe Mazeau produce a lush, fruit forward blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc intended for immediate enjoyment.
