The 2023 vintage had its challenges, but we were able to pick Merlot grapes with exceptional flavour and balanced acidity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA blend of two individual parcels of Merlot from the vineyard, each parcel fermented, then matured in barrel separately. Fruit from older vines contribute depth and richness to the wine while fruit from younger vines give vibrancy and beautiful colour. Warm fermentation temperatures up to 28˚C and extended skin contact maximise texture, weight and complexity.
