Shows heady notes of passionfruit blossom and grapefruit pith, with a herbal lift. The palate displays fresh citrus and passionfruit flavours balanced with a
crisp, refreshing finish.
Marlborough experienced a mild-to-cool spring period, which ensured that the vines naturally produced lighter than average yields. These mild temperatures then extended into the summer months, coupled with an unseasonal period of rain, which ultimately alleviated the drought conditions we had experienced over the past two years. The fruit for this wine comes from two blocks from the Lower Wairau Valley, which is an area that is known for highly aromatic fruit flavours and vibrancy. Recommendation for cellaring would be to enjoy now, or cellar up to 2 years.
