An attractive Chardonnay showing lovely ripe nectarine, rockmelon and a hint of cream brulee on the nose. The palate is fresh and lively with layers of citrus and stone fruit, finishing with a hint of toasted hazelnut. Medium bodied, it has a pleasant silkiness to the texture with crisp acidity and a fine elegant finish.
Partial oak and malolactic fermentation have imparted texture, complexity and weight to this wine. The wine is well concentrated, full of finesse and vineyard expression. Drinking beautifully now this wine will continue to develop well under good cellar conditions for a further three or four years.
Food Pairing: Lovely with roast chicken and vegetables or creamy chicken risotto.
