Description
"One of my favorite wines from this terrific estate is the 2015 Cotes du Roussillon les Aspres Cuvee Lea, which is a blend of Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre raised in demi-muids. Coming from the Les Aspres terroir located to the south and west of Perpignan, it has fabulous notes of black raspberries, cassis, scorched earth and Provencal herbs. Full-bodied, layered and seamless, with serious length, it sells for a song and readers should snatch it up." Jeb Dunnuck, eRobertParker
"When it comes to quality-to-price ratios, no one does it better than proprietor Jean Marc Lafage. Located just outside of Perpignan, this estate has a wealth of old vines and vineyards to pull from, and the addition of a massive new winery is only going to give them even more control. While it’s easy to write off these value-priced releases as fruit bombs, please taste the wines! They have beautiful purity of fruit, impeccable balance and each release has their own unique character. At the prices, these are no-brainers." Robert Parker's, The Wine Advocate
