Description

"Bright, very pale salmon-pink colour, lighter on the rim. The nose is delicate with ethereal aromas of watermelon, quince, strawberries and pomegranate with red floral nuances, and hints of thirst-quenching minerals. The aromatics are pure, subtle and intricate, with finesse and intensity. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is bright and refreshingly vibrant with delicate and finely intense flavours of watermelon, strawberries and quince. This has very good depth and the mouthfeel has vitality and energy, with refreshing, lacy and slippery acidity. The wine flows smoothly along a very fine line leading to a long, lingering zesty finish with watermelon and red floral notes. This is a refreshing, delicately fruited dry rosé with watermelon, strawberry and quince flavours on a slippery, mouthwatering palate. It is a nod to the Provencal style. Serve as an aperitif, with canapes, seafood and antipasto over the next 2 years. Pinot Noir fruit from the ‘Saint Maur’ vineyard in the Southern Valley, vines 14 y.o., cool-fermented to 12.5% alc. and 2.4 g/L RS, the wine spending 3 months on lees. 2,200 cases made" Raymond Chan, Oct 2017

"Made from Pinot Noir grapes that were especially grown to make Rosé. Provençal-style Rosé with delicious citrus fruit, raspberry and subtle violet flavours and an ethereal texture. The wine is dry with a lingering finish. Very impressive" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Nov 2017

Light copper salmon in colour, this Mediterranean style rosé has fresh herb aromas of thyme, tarragon and dill overlaying nuances of orange blossom and mandarin. The zesty palate exudes fleshy tangelo, citrus and peach with a touch of wet stone. The wine is perfectly poised, delivering a briny fresh, clean and dry finish.

Established in 2004, Two Rivers of Marlborough takes its name from the iconic rivers that feed the wine growing heart of Marlborough’s renowned Wairau and Awatere Valleys. Isle of Beauty is the evocative name given to the French island of Corsica, located in the Mediterranean sea. After three vintages in Corsica, winemaker David Clouston became passionate about producing fresh, pure and vibrant salmon coloured Rosé. Two Rivers Isle of Beauty Rosé is Mediterranean in style, using Marlborough pinot noir grapes, which were grown specifically for rose production on a single vineyard in the Southern Valleys.

Food Pairing: An ideal pairing with all Mediterranean cuisine.
