Description

"A classic dry expression of rosé from the South of France, the delicately lifted bouquet shows red apple, strawberry, lemon and floral aromas, followed by a finely textured palate that is light and zesty. The wine offers mouth-watering flavours and finishes long and crisp. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, October 2017

"Pours a pale salmon. Summery aromas of dried flowers, sweet hay, plus plenty of citrus, mostly lemon and pink grapefruit, give way to a zesty, juicy mouthful. Notes of strawberry and vanilla blossom show up on the palate. Fresh and zingy." Ultimate Wine Challenge, Sep 2017

Aime Roquesante, a modern winery respectful of traditional processes, blends Provence's predominant grapes: cinsault, grenache and syrah. The distinctive bottle, a curvy shape known as a skittle, sets off the pretty color of the wine. On the nose, the wine offers aromas of fresh strawberry and hints of peach. On the palate, taste watermelon, young red berries, citrus and stony minerality on the crisp finish.

Food Pairing:  Drink it as an aperitif or with hors d'oeuvres such as smoked salmon or pate, salads, seafood, fried chicken, barbecue, Asian cuisines, fruit and soft cheeses.

Outstanding value for money - we ordered a case in 2016, and another in 2017, and will definitely re-order again. Delicious!

This is a fine summer wine, not exceptional, light in taste, doesn't linger.....somewhat innocent.
