Description

Look what has just arrived for summer  - a collection of pinks that can be sipped happily around the BBQ or the dining table. All hailing from where rosé reaches its peak - Provence. Crisp, refreshing, berry scented and elegantly stylish. This is what the billionaires on their Monte Carlo yachts charge their glasses with - and you can too!

This mix includes 2 bottles of the following:

2 x Marius Peyol Cotes de Provence Rose 2016 (France)

Awarded 90/100 Points: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2017

Awarded Silver Medal: International Wine Challenge 2017

"Finely scented on the nose showing ripe citrus, white stone fruit, floral and a touch of raspberry aromas on the nose. The palate is light and juicy, and offers delicate fruit flavours combined with bright acidity, leading to a lingering crisp finish. At its best: now to end of 2018" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2017

A Provençal classic from the home of France's finest quality rosés. Saint Tropez has been famous for the style since the 19th century, yet only one cellar may proudly bear the glitterati town's name on its label. Characterful, elegant and stylish, the beautifully shaped bottle will make you want it to take pride of place on your dining table.

Food Pairing: This aromatic blend of cinsault, grenache and syrah grapes make for a refreshing option that’s perfect with seafood.

Alc: 12.5% - Seal: Screw Cap

2x Francois Dulac Cotes De Provence Rose 2016 (France)

Awarded 90/100 Points: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2017

"A charming rosé displaying delicately lifted aromas of strawberry, nectarine, citrus and floral on the nose, followed by a vibrant palate that is finely textured and lively. The wine offers elegance as well as immediate appealing, finishing long and crisp. At its best: now to end of 2018" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2017

This is a lovely summer party wine right from the heart of Provence, halfway between Aix-en-Provence and Saint Tropez. This superb estate sits on 140 hectares of oak forest, olive groves, wild garrigue and (of course) vines. It was the Romans who first planted vines here, more than 2,000 years ago, along the 'Via Aurelia' which used to pass close by. Low yields from 40 year old vines account for the concentrated, super-high quality of this wine, while the winemaker insistence of harvesting the grapes at night brings extra freshness.

Food Pairing: Francois Dulac rosé has the substance and richness to make a perfect match with roast white meats or salmon.

Alc: 12.5% - Seal: Screw Cap

2x Maison Fortant Lux Royal Provence Rosé 2016 (France)

Awarded 90/100 Points: Sam Kim, The Wine Orbit, Sep 2017

"A delicately styled rosé, the elegant bouquet shows grapefruit, red apple, raspberry and floral characters with a hint of savoury complexity. The palate is vibrant and finely textured, and delivers pristine fruit flavours and bright acidity, leading to a lingering crisp finish. It is delightfully restrained and charmingly drinkable. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, The Wine Orbit, Sep 2017

A Provençal classic from the home of France's finest quality rosés. Saint Tropez has been famous for the style since the 19th century and Maison Fortant Lux Royal proudly carries on this tradition with this delicious, elegant Rose.

Haven't yet tried all the 3 varieties but the Cotes de Provence Francois Dulac is beautiful. The Lux Royal Maison Fortant was very different from NZ roses but by the end of the bottle we decided that we quite liked it!

Just great!

Typical Provencal Rose'. Can't go wrong with all of them being quite dry, light salmon colour and subtle strawberry taste.
