The Winemaker's of this Mystery Rose endeavour to make their wine a lovely pale pink colour. On the nose, there is lifted aromas of strawberry and raspberry with hints of stone fruit and pear. The palate delivers complex flavours of raspberry, strawberry and melon. A well balanced dry Rose with an attractive long, crisp, clean finish
A well-balanced small crop allowed these mystery winemakers to select fragrant ripe Pinot Noir fruit from their Estate Costal Block where they grow Pinot Noir Clones 667 and Abel. The fruit was 100% machine picked in the 1st week of April 2015 and gently destemmed into tank for 7 days of cold soaking, being plunged 4 times per day to lift a fine perfume and soft the red berry fruit.

A lovely rose, a little bit different from the normal rose but i enjoyed it so much i ordered another case for me and a friend before we missed out!

Its ok, a bit sweet perhaps, but does suit well with a Salmon dip or a Smoked Chicken salad. Not sure how this winery is NZ's largest Rose producer though. Its not one I've heard a lot about.
