Description
"Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with lemon-green hues, lighter on the edge. The nose is fresh with soft aromas of white stonefruits and florals and nuances of honeysuckle and minerals. The aromatics show good depth with aeration. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has restrained, light flavours of white and yellow stonefruits with subtle floral notes and suggestions of honeysuckle. The mouthfeel has a soft richness and is balanced by light, refreshing acidity and the wine flows along a fine line, leading to a dry finish with light stonefruit and honeysuckle notes. This is a light fruited dry Pinot Gris with a subtle richness and fresh mouthfeel. Serve as an aperitif and with most white meat dishes over the next 2+ years. Hawke’s Bay fruit cool-fermented to 13.0% alc. and 5 g/L RS, the wine aged one month on lees" Raymond Chan, Oct 2017
"It is fabulously fruited and fragrant on the nose showing poached pear, white stone fruit, mandarin and floral characters with a hint of spice complexity. The palate is succulent and silky, and delivers lovely weight and juicy mouthfeel, leading to a long and delicious finish. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2017
Pale straw in the glass with a lifted floral nose of rose water, apple and nashi pear with spicy nuances. Full bodied on the palate with a silky smooth, luscious texture that reveals a fresh fruit medley of succulent apples and pears, with layers of melon, honey and spice.
Only the free run juice was used for this blend. Clean juice was fermented at cool temperatures and carefully monitored with the aim of retaining the maximum amount of primary fruit character in the final wine.
Food Pairing: We recommend trying this luscious drop with fresh summer catches such as seared scallops or full flavoured spicy dishes like Thai chicken curry.

Really good wine, a bit expensive per bottle. The others in the range are 16.99 in the shops. However this one is not available to buy in supermarkeys
